Nakhon Ratchasima

My mother passed away last year and left behind several boxes of documents I had no idea how to approach. Sarunporn spent an afternoon helping me sort everything into a proper system. I now know where every important document is, and so does my sister. The folder kit they provided is excellent — it covers categories I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

We did the Family Story Workshop as a family of four siblings. It was a bit emotional at times — we didn't expect that — but Wanida handled everything with real sensitivity. The keepsake templates came out beautifully and we've already printed them and put them alongside the family photograph albums. My only note: book early, as they fill up quickly.

I'm not a naturally organised person and I'd been putting this off for years. Krit was patient throughout — we went through everything methodically and he explained the system as we went so I actually understood it, not just the result. I've been able to add new documents on my own since the session, which was what I hoped for.

Nakhon Ratchasima — Family Story Workshop

My grandmother attended the workshop with me. She's 81 and not someone who naturally writes about herself, but the prompts were so thoughtfully phrased that she filled several pages without hesitation. We have stories from her now that we would never have thought to ask for. That alone was worth far more than the price.

Surin — Genealogy Advisory (B2B)

Our genealogy society had been managing records in a fairly ad hoc way for over a decade. The advisory session with Lineara gave us a clear, written set of recommendations that we've now implemented across our volunteer team. The process review was thorough and the recommendations were practical — not idealistic. We've already noticed the difference.

Bangkok (session in Nakhon Ratchasima)

I travelled from Bangkok specifically for the records session, as I wanted to go through my late father's documents at his house in Korat. The team was incredibly accommodating and clearly understood the mixture of emotions involved in that kind of work. The index they created is now something my whole family references when we need to find anything.

How the Work Has Helped

Case Study 01 — Lineage Records Session

A Family Managing Documents After a Loss

The Challenge

After their father's passing, two adult children were left with four decades of mixed documents — land records, insurance papers, vehicle documents, and personal correspondence — spread across three separate boxes with no labelling or order.

The Session

A single three-hour Lineage Records Session was arranged at the family home. The team worked alongside both siblings to sort, label, and categorise every document. The folder kit was set up with 12 active categories and an overflow reference tab.

The Outcome

Within one session, the family had a complete, navigable document system. When they needed to access land registration documents three weeks later for an administrative matter, they found them within two minutes. "We'd never have found it that quickly before," one sibling said.

Case Study 02 — Family Story Workshop

A Family Workshop Before a Matriarch Turned 90

The Challenge

A family of five wanted to mark their grandmother's 90th birthday in a meaningful way — capturing her memories, values, and wishes in a format that could be kept and shared. No one in the family had done anything like this before.

The Workshop

A half-day Family Story Workshop was arranged at the family's home. Wanida facilitated the session gently, working through the prompts booklet with the grandmother at the centre while the rest of the family contributed their own pages alongside her.

The Outcome

The completed keepsake templates were printed and bound for each family member as a birthday gift. The grandmother's section ran to eleven pages — significantly more than expected. The family described it as the most meaningful gift they could have given her.

Case Study 03 — Genealogy Operations Advisory (B2B)

Bringing Consistency to a Regional Heritage Society

The Challenge

A regional heritage society with 40 active members had grown its record collection over 12 years through many different contributors. There was no consistent intake procedure, different naming conventions were in use, and some items had been filed under multiple categories.

The Advisory

Lineara conducted a discovery session with the committee, reviewed a sample of the collection, and spent a half-day on-site mapping existing workflows. A written recommendations report was delivered within two weeks, covering seven process improvements.

The Outcome

Within three months, the society had implemented five of the seven recommendations. They reported a 60% reduction in time spent locating specific items during their monthly research sessions. The committee found the report "direct, realistic, and immediately usable."
